Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy covers browsing pages, reading tutorials, and using download links on 9v2ray.com. Data handling by client software and connection services is governed by their respective policies.

1. Scope and information you submit

This is a static resource site offering downloads for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG, along with configuration guides. We do not offer account registration, ask you to provide an email address, or collect identifying information such as your name or phone number through forms. You can read our documentation without submitting client configurations or subscription URLs.

Subscription links, server passwords, user IDs, and full configurations may contain access credentials. Do not submit them as URL parameters or include them in public feedback. Importing configurations, connecting, and setting up routing are done within the client; this site does not store those configurations for you.

2. Access logs and analytics

When you visit a page or use a download link, the infrastructure serving the site processes information needed to fulfill the request, such as your IP address, request path, access time, response status, and browser request headers. These records help deliver pages, detect unusual requests, and troubleshoot resource loading issues. They are not the same as a personal profile created through user registration.

We use analytics to understand page visits, referring pages, device categories, and interactions such as download platform selections. The results help us improve tutorial structure, find broken links, and assess page compatibility. They are not used to infer what you browse in a client, your proxy traffic, or your server configuration. Analytics requests may be sent automatically when you visit a page; the fields available depend on browser restrictions and deployment settings.

This policy does not promise a fixed retention period that has not been verified. Request logs and analytics data should be processed only as needed to operate the site, troubleshoot issues, and maintain necessary security.

3. Cookies and browser storage

A static website does not necessarily avoid browser storage altogether. When analytics are enabled, cookies may be used to distinguish sessions or identify repeat visits. Check the storage items shown by your browser to see whether cookies are actually set. Page language is determined by the link path, and platform selections can be restored using URL fragments.

We do not ask you to store subscription links, passwords, or identifying information in cookies or local storage. If a deployed feature needs to save interface preferences, it should store only the relevant settings. You can view, block, or delete this site's cookies and local storage in your browser's Privacy and Security or Site Data settings. Clearing them may reset some preferences or session identifiers.

4. Download sources and third-party links

This site provides software information and download links. Installation files are delivered by download services and are not stored alongside the static site as page resources. The download page requests a same-origin version manifest to update its links; actual file requests may be routed through an on-site distribution path or redirected to the file provider.

When you start a download or open an external link, the relevant service provider may receive the network address, device request information, and access time needed to fulfill the request. Its own data practices apply. This policy does not replace third-party policies or cover data handling by client software after installation, subscription providers, or connection services. Review the information provided by each software product and service before deciding whether to use it.

5. Policy updates and questions

We will update this policy if site features, analytics settings, or download delivery methods change, and revise the month shown at the top of this page. Changes that introduce new data uses or significantly expand data processing should be explained alongside the relevant feature. We do not send update notices by account email.

For help with downloads, importing subscriptions, or connection issues, first check the FAQs in Quick Start and the user documentation. Before reviewing logs, redact subscription URLs, passwords, and user IDs. For browser storage issues, start with your local site permissions. Clearing this site's data will not delete downloaded files or configurations stored in a client.
